The Model, view, controller is an architectural framework developed by Microsoft for the alternative of asp.net web forms for creating web application. The ASP.Net MVC is a lightweight and testable framework with existing features of asp.net web forms such as master page and authentication. Most importantly it splits application into three components i.e Model, View and Controller.
